From childhood my grandparents kept us quite busy discovering the waterfront of New Jersey. Spending summers along the coast of the Jersey Shore or sharing weekend drives site-seeing to get a glimpse of the New York Skyline, they loved introducing us to New Jersey. A day of Urban area shopping, eating and exploring, a weekend at Lake Hopatcong, weeks in Wildwood Crest, Manasquan and other beaches along the coast in Ocean and Monmouth counties. The best summers were spent in our Cherry Quay lagoon front rental home and taking boat rides on the Metedeconk in Brick Township, My grandparents made sure we experienced and appreciated the beauty of New Jersey and its water friendly areas.
